As you can see from the membership list, hundreds have tried to access the site, but unless you can demostrate three things, you will not be allowed to post:

1. A clear lack of conflict, or lack or personal financial gain agenda.

2. Proven financial industry expertise.

3. An interest in protecting and improving the public interest.

Thank you for the efforts of those unique individuals who meet these requirements. You are making Canada a safer place to invest one step at a time.

If you are new to these forums, and you meet the qualifications listed above, then your comments, pro and con, are welcome here. If you do not meet the qualifications then I apologize that you may not be allowed to post.

This hopefully will keep the flogg uncluttered with trivia, and will make it a more usefull resource for media, legislators, lawyers and students of financial market systems.

As one can easily see, from looking at the Memberlist section of this forum, attacks and attempts to hack into and damage this forum have been quite prevalent and persistent. This is unfortunate but in no way diminishes the desire of the backers and supporters of the forum. In fact it may actually demonstrate that we are touching on some fairly sensitive topics that some folks wish to silence.

We will continue to maintain the forum for the benefit of all Canadian investors. Thank you for your understanding of the obstacles we face.

As of Oct 2008, attempts to hack into and vandalize (usually infecting site with pornographic sayings) have far exceeded ten thousand attempts. The contents of this site must be very threatening to those financial practitioners who practice "worst practices". We are flattered by your attention. Those who practice "best practices" and with honesty are some of our best contributors.
